Elden Ring: Spectral Hawk Tree Locations & Interactive Tracking Guide

Serving as the main method to move quickly across the massive fields of Limveld, the Spectral Hawk Tree is a must-visit landmark for every Nightfarer.

These glowing blue trees are found in key spots across the map, and they act as the best method for flying over tough enemies and reaching safe zones before the night ends.

How Spectral Hawk Trees Work

These trees are not just for decoration; they are your basic tools for survival during a 3-night expedition.

  • The Summon: Interact with the glowing trunk to call a Spectral Hawk.
  • The Flight: The hawk will carry you along a "spectral road"—marked by breezy lines on your map—connecting you to other trees or points of interest.
  • Movement: While in the air, you can steer slightly or jump off early. This is the best way to land on top of high cliffs or hidden towers that you can't reach from the ground.

Major Tree Locations in Limveld

Most maps feature at least six fixed routes. These are the top choices for fast travel:

  • The Starting Path: Located just north of the Main Encampment. This route carries you toward the center of the map, making it essential for early looting.
  • The Church Route: Found behind the Great Church. This is the safest location when the Night's Tide starts closing in.
  • The Fortress Flyover: Located near the Western Underground Fort. It carries you over the high walls, letting you skip dozens of enemies.
  • The Highland Perch: Found on the cliffs near the Old Sorcerer's Rise. Use this to reach the Palisades of the Nightreign Castle.

2026 Nightreign: Shifting Earth Impacts

Because Limveld changes based on "Shifting Earth" events, your flight paths will change too.

  • Noklateo (The Shrouded City): When this event is active, new trees appear near the massive city walls. These are the only ways to fly over the barriers and land inside the city's inner courtyards.
  • The Crater: In this fire-heavy event, trees near the northern lava pools are requied for staying cool. Flying over the lava is the safest path to the underground temple.

A great strategy for 2026 players is to use the Spectral Hawk Tree near the Forsaken Hollows to scout for Buried Treasures.

From the air, the "Dig Sites" glow much brighter, making them a top choice for quick loot runs.

To help you map out your flight paths and stay above the rot, we have marked every tree on our Elden Ring interactive map.
